SEASIDE Oregon Fine Foods has won the exclusive right to serve food in the Seaside Civic and Convention Center.
The Seaside City Council approved the contract with the food service company at its meeting Monday night.
The three-year contract includes two three-year renewals. It allows the company to contract with organizations using the convention center to provide meals. The company then will bill the organizations for its services, said Seaside City Manager Mark Winstanley.
Oregon Fine Foods is owned by Wayne Poole, who also owns the Pig n Pancake restaurants in Seaside, Cannon Beach, Astoria, Newport, Lincoln City and Portland.
