Quakers to meet Sunday

SEAVIEW, Wash. The Lower Columbia Worship Group of the Society of Friends (Quakers) will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Peninsula Church Center Fireside Room (south building), 5000 N Place, in Seaview. Holiday Bazaar and Luncheon set in Warrenton

WARRENTON A Holiday Bazaar and Luncheon will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Warrenton United Methodist Church, 679 S. Main Ave. in Warrenton. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will include sandwiches, salad and pie, and coffee, tea or milk. Holiday items, baked goods, seasonal decor and books will also be available. Funds raised will support community ministries with children and families.

Pacific Unitarian Universalist Church to meet

The Pacific Unitarian Universalist Church will hold a service at 11 a.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church, 820 Alameda Ave. The Rev. Carol McKinley will deliver a sermon, Crossing Borders.

Arline LaMear will facilitate the service, Karen Beck will be the greeter, and Karen Beck and Peggy Coreson will provide refreshments.

Taize Worship set in Cannon Beach

CANNON BEACH Community Presbyterian Church, located at 132 E. Washington St. in Cannon Beach, will hold Taize Worship, a quiet, contemplative, candlelight service of songs and prayers, at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Grace to celebrate All Saints Sunday

Grace Episcopal Church, 1545 Franklin Ave., will celebrate All Saints Sunday at both the 8 and 10 a.m. services on Sunday. There will be a Table of Remembrance for those attending to write names of departed loved ones, and to put mementos and photos.

Following the 10 a.m. service, the interim rector, the Rev. Kenneth J. Dorsch, will host an open house at the rectory, next door to the church, where pizza and finger foods will be served.

 The November Labyrinth from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday will feature a Remembrance Walk. Jennifer Goodenberger will offer piano music. Those wishing to remember departed loved ones are invited to bring a memento and light a candle before walking. A labyrinth introduction will be offered at 3 p.m. upon request. It takes an average of 30 minutes to complete the walk, or stay the whole time and enjoy a free concert.        

A weekly Bible reflection, known as Lectio Divina, will take place each Monday at 4 p.m. in the chapel.

The annual Grace Holiday Bazaar begins Nov. 9. It runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and features original art by local artists, as well as fabric creations, plants, cookbooks and holiday treasures. Light lunch fare will also be available.

Free take-out meal offered in Ocean Park

OCEAN PARK, Wash. The Ocean Park Lutheran Church will serve a free takeout meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays only. The church is located on U Street between Bay Avenue and 227th in Ocean Park. Call 360-665-6344 for information.

Finnish Evangelical Free Church to meet

The Finnish Evangelical Free Church will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church, 820 Alameda Ave. in Astoria. Tuomas Jantti will be speaking. The public is welcome, and refreshments will be served after the meeting.

Bethany Free Lutheran Church Fall Festival set

Bethany Free Lutheran Church, 451 34th St., will host a Fall Festival at 4 p.m. Sunday. The program will be on the theme of Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving. There will be congregational singing, special music, sharing of Scripture and other sharing. After the program there will be Scandinavian and other types of food served. The public is welcome.
