Kudos to The Daily Astorian for the satire masquerading as an endorsement of Barack Obama for president (Barack Obama for president, Oct. 18). The encomium was amusing enough, but the concluding sentence, Our choice is Obama, who has been a highly competent president, was brilliant. Keep up the good work.
