The North Coast ABATE chapter cruised local roads with residents of Clatsop Retirement Village Sunday, Aug. 26., LAURA SELLERS-EARL told the Ear. Originally launched by STEVE LOVEJOY, this almost annual event has motorcycle chapter members ferrying our valued senior citizens on a jaunt around the area.

Eleven chapter members escorted four hardy village residents around Youngs River Loop, she explained, and even though the rain came halfway through the journey, there were big smiles on the faces of both riders and passengers. Not for the faint at heart, it was a 20-mile, one-hour ride.
