Bellisima Salon & Boutique recently opened at 1138 Commercial Street, offering facials, waxing, hair design, color, highlights and haircuts. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

We do haircuts, hair styling, said Alanna McLeary, who operates the salon owned by Debra Angus with three others. We do nails and other aesthetics.

Anogther salon, Flourine & Co., opened at 375 11th St. It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 11 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and provides makeup matching and application, facials, waxing and spray tans.

It can also be rented out for events after hours.

I wanted to bring higher-end makeup to the northern Oregon coast and surrounding areas by giving healthier, more beneficial options to users without having to make the drive into Portland or having to pay shipping online, said owner Judith Stokes.
