Thomas and Dianna Johnson of Olney announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Diane Moravec, to Kai Antti Ahola. He is the son of Curt and Shelley Ahola of Olney.

The bride-to-be graduated from Astoria High School in 2008, attended Oregon State University and is currently attending Clatsop Community College. She works at the Big O Saloon while continuing her education.

The prospective groom is a 2002 Astoria High School graduate, and also graduated from Missoula Valley School of Taxidermy in Montana. He is employed at the Seaside Les Schwab Tire Center.

A June 29, 2013, wedding is planned in the Olney area.
