SEASIDE The Seaside American Legion welcomes the community to participate in the Shake a Leg for a Vet sing-along walk-along to salute active military members and veterans, starting at 1 p.m. Saturday. It will start at Avenue U, or 12th Avenue, or anywhere along the Prom, and end at the turnaround to sing Lean On Me and God Bless America.

The walk-along will be followed by a barbecue at the American Legion, 1315 Broadway, from 2 to 8 p.m. The cost is $6.50 for two hot dogs or a hamburger with chips and soda or $7.50 for chicken with chips and soda.
