SEASIDE – Reports of a coyote in a northwest Seaside neighborhood shouldn’t be too surprising according to officials with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (OFWD).
Coyotes are common along the North Coast, according to the OFWD, but department biologists urge anyone noticing aggressive behavior by the animals to call authorities.
Wildlife officials trapped and killed a coyote in Nehalem Bay State Park Saturday, following the coyote-related injury of a five-year-old Oregon City girl in the campground June 21.
