Dull Awaits Word On Possible Boring Partnership

Residents of the Scotland village of “Dull” should know this week whether they’ll become tied to Boring, Oregon.
The idea was proposed by a Scottish woman who cycled through Boring while on vacation.
Dull has only 84 residents while Boring has more than 10,000, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
And while Dull is dependent on tourism, Boring is more industrial.
But residents of Dull are optimistic about a partnership.
They’ve planned a party which they say will prove they are “neither dull nor boring,” the Telegraph reported.
The BBC says Dull hopes a street sign will boost tourism.
