Dispose of documents and old cell phones: June 30, 2012

Better Business Bureau, Pacific Alarm Systems and Shred-it are offering free document shredding and cell phone recycling at BBBs first Secure Your ID Day at the Oregon coast.

BBB encourages residents and vacationers in Clatsop County to safely dispose of items to help support identity theft prevention education.

Saturday, June 30, 2012: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Pacific Alarm Systems: 3577 Highway 101 North, Gearheart, Ore. 97138

Shred it and forget it. Drive up and drop off up to three bags or boxes of unwanted paperwork per person. No cardboard or three-ring binders. Items will be securely shredded on-the-spot by Shred-it.

Recycle it and benefit. Discard old cell phones to Verizons HopeLine, which wipes sensitive data and allocates phones to domestic violence victims.

Feed the need. Donate canned foods for CCA Regional Food Bank. Donations are voluntary.
