Michael “Mike” Patterson 1946-2012

Michael Mike Patterson, 66, of Warrenton died on April 2, 2012. He was born on March 18, 1946.

Michael was raised in Easley, SC. He attended BS Clemson University in Clemson, SC, and MS Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He was married to Lynn Patterson on April 18, 1998 in Beaufort, SC.

He worked as an electrical contractor, and as a journeyman electrician. Michael was a member of the IBEW Local 48, and was lauded by the Project Gutenberg proofreaders as the first to have his own list of accomplishments in proofreading.He retired in 2008 after being diagnosed with ALS.

He is survived by his wife Lynn, Son & daughter-in-law Joe & Erika Patterson of Fort Mill, SC; Brother & sister-in-law, John Y& Elaine Patterson of Lafayette, IN; niece, Lauren Patterson of Knoxville, TN; Nephew, Danny Patterson of Chicago, IL; and Cousin Margaret Jack of Corvallis.
