At the end of the year, we were honored to receive a gift of $25,000 from Providence Health Plan to help support our mission at St. Vincent de Paul. As you might be aware, St. Vincent de Paul in Seaside has been a part of the local community for 12 years and we provide the following services to those in need:
Rent and utility assistance to help people pay their bills (especially during the cold and wet winter months)
Food bank (last year, we were able to assist more than 2,600 families and 8,500 people through our Food Pantry)
In addition, we have expanded pantry hours to be open the last Saturday of each month, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year we have seen an increase of 37 percent for our services, we are proud to be able to serve some of those needs.
Volunteers and donations are welcome.
Many thanks to Providence Health Plan for their generous gift.
Sincerely,
George Mareina
