Weddings: Eggleston – Gilliatt

Tami Lynn Eggleston of Lynchburg, Va., daughter of Vesta Eggleston of Warrenton and the late William C. Eggleston, exchanged wedding vows with Steven Mark Gilliatt, also of Lynchburg, Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Forest, Va. The groom is the son of Dixie Gilliatt of Lynchburg and the late Melvin Gilliatt.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother and family. The Rev. Timothy Wilde performed the ceremony. Music for the ceremony was provided by Monica Barringer.
Matron of honor was Suzanne Severson of Warrenton. Bridesmaids were Melanie Williams of Astoria, Connie Seutter of Elgin, Ill., Amy Rupp of Numine, Pa., and Bonnie Coello and Natalie Beidler of Lynchburg.
Best man was Todd Coalson of Altavista, Va. Honorary best man was Dennis Gilliatt of Madison Heights, Va. Groomsmen were Tim M., Scott, Jeremy and Tim B. Gilliatt, all of Lexington, N.C., and Trevor Coalson of Altavista.
The bride attended Warrenton High School and Western Oregon University in Monmouth. She is a first grade teacher in Amherst County, Va.
The groom attended Batavia High School in Batavia, N.Y., and Liberty University in Lynchburg. He works in management at Lifeway Christian Store in Lynchburg.
A reception was held in the Mountain View United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
The couple, who will reside in Lynchburg, honeymooned in Emerald Isle, N.C.
