SEASIDE A bit of history is returning to Seaside.
BJs Pizza Palace, the former restaurant in the Creekside Pizzeria building, will reopen in another two weeks.
Jerry and Bonnie Eller, the former owners of the 4,800-square-foot building at 2490 U. S. Highway 101 North, are taking it over again after 12 years.
Its going to be back the way it used to be, said Jerry Eller. We will serve all original pizza, and well have a restaurant menu.
Remodeling has already begun on the restaurant. Plans call for a sports bar as well as a restaurant, he said. A play area, containing an 18-foot by 25-foot bouncy structure is planned for youngsters.
Weve always catered to young people, Eller said.
Bonnie Eller agreed. Weve had a lot of birthday parties and sports teams in here, she said. Its a place for everyone to get together.
The Ellers owned BJs Pizza Palace for 23 years before selling it to Bill and Teresa Ayotte in 1999. The Ayottes have moved to Tri-Cities, Wash.
