Witnesses sought to north Tillamook stabbing; 2 held; 3 released from hospital

TILLAMOOK – Tillamook County Major Crime Team detectives are continuing an investigation following the arrest of two suspects after Saturday night’s disturbance outside Koko’s Restaurant at the Alderbrook Golf Course five miles north of Tillamook that resulted in the stabbing of three adults.

Here is what happened:
At approximately 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Tillamook County 911 received a report of a stabbing outside Koko’s Restaurant.

Two men and a woman were stabbed and two suspects fled into the darkness toward the golf course. A Tillamook County deputy and an OSP trooper searched the golf course and arrested two suspects about an hour afterward.
One of the victims, Joshua Roberts, 31, from Tillamook, drove to Tillamook County General Hospital for treatment of a stab wound to his arm. The other two victims were transported by Tillamook Ambulance to the same hospital. They were identified as Sean Matthew Bennett, 28, from Bay City, and Chelisa “Sissy” Vandecoevering, 26, from Garibaldi. Both received wounds to their bodies.
All three were treated and released.
The two suspects are Juan Emigdio Valencia-Ayala, 21, from Tillamook, and Jacob Zavala Krumenaker, 20, from Garibaldi. Both were lodged in the Tillamook County Correctional Facility on three counts of first-degree assault.
Detectives from TCSO and OSP are continuing the investigation. Tillamook Police Department assisted at the scene. Investigators processed the scene and interviewed witnesses during the night. Tillamook County Search & Rescue personnel assisted with searching the golf course Sunday morning for evidence.
