Wedding: Palosaari – Weaver

Bethany Palosaari of Corvallis, daughter of Raymond and Suzanne Palosaari of Tucson, Ariz., exchanged wedding vows with Chad Weaver of Corvallis, formerly of Brownsmead, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at Calvary Chapel in Corvallis. The groom is the son of Harold and Janice Weaver of Brownsmead.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Rob Verdeyen performed the ceremony with the assistance of the brides father, who is a pastor.
The bride wore a white taffeta mermaid cut bridal gown with a V-neck, straps, beading and a medium-sized train.
Matron of honor was Kristin Wilkinson of Tucson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashly Hilst, Sara Whipp, Becca Knittel, Lauren Watton and Jessica Johnson, all of Tucson, and Heather Rodgers of Corvallis. Flower girls were Madelynn, Katelynn and Raelynn Weaver, all of Brownsmead.

Best men were Jarid Burley of Knappa and Brent Glogan of Woodburn. Groomsmen were David Paul of Bend, Steve Shapiro of Portland, Tanner Perrine of Eugene and Ryan and Craig Weaver of Brownsmead.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy in Tucson and a 2007 graduate of the University of Arizona. She is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
The groom graduated from Knappa High School in 2001. In 2005, he received a bachelors degree from Oregon State University, and in 2007, he received a masters degree. He is a college minister at Calvary Corvallis and OSU.
A reception was held at Calvary Corvallis. The 350 guests at the outdoor event enjoyed dinner and dancing. The bride and groom drove away in a 1953 Chevrolet truck.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia in the Caribbean and reside in Corvallis.
