Three Astoria community churches held an Astoria Community Vacation Bible School, PandaMoeNium Get Some Moe Jesus, based on the animated feature Kung Fu Panda. Last weeks event featured lunches, music, drama, crafts, games and performances by a guest team from Seattle Community Church.

The churches involved were Grace Community  Baptist Church, Astoria Christian Church and First Presbyterian Church of Astoria.

We had a very successful Vacation Bible School with more than 40 kids attending, said Pastor Dave Prichard of First Presbyterian Church. Already the group wants to come back down next year, and the churches are very excited about the way it all worked together.
