Avada Hearing Care Centers, operating subsidiary of Hearing Healthcare Management Inc. (HHM), has announced the grand opening of their office at 657 W. Marine Drive will be Aug. 19. This location will be open to the local community on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only.

The primary hearing healthcare professional for the Astoria office will be Rick Barr, hearing instruments specialist. Barr has several years of experience as a hearing professional, and he will be in the new Astoria location to continue caring for patients and their hearing devices.

Avada of Astorias new office is a state-of-the-art hearing care center, featuring a place where dozens of everyday sounds can be recreated to help patients to make informed decisions regarding their hearing devices.

Everyone over age 55 should have annual hearing screenings. Avada offers free hearing screenings for those interested.
