Homemade butter recipe

Ingredients

2 cups whipping cream

Flavoring of choice (fresh chive; rosemary garlic and salt; truffles and salt)

Method:

Place cream in bowl of mixer. Cover top of bowl with towel or plastic to prevent spatter. Turn on high and beat until fat separates from whey (milk solids and water).

Drain well in colander lined with cheesecloth. Squeeze as much liquid from “butter” as you can.

Return butter fat to clean bowl and add flavorings as desired.
