Kelsey and Charlie Mitchell

Kelsey and Charlie Mitchell were married April 2 at Urban Grace Church, Tacoma.

Kelsey is a 2000 graduate of Onalaska High School, 2002 graduate of Centralia College and 2005 graduate at Clover Park Tech. She is a commercial interior designer for Bargreen Ellingson, Tacoma. Her parents are Phil and Terri Luhn, Toledo.

Charlie is a 1999 graduate of Kent Meridian High School, Kent, and a 2003 graduate of Western Washington University. He is a high school teacher and coaches baseball, basketball and golf for Kentridge High School, Kent. His parents are Bill and Sara Mitchell, Kent.

Matron of honor at the wedding was Jaime Massie, Kent. Bridesmaids were Hilary Luhn, Centralia, and Emma Luhn, Toledo.

Flower girls were Samantha and Emma Mitchell, Orting.

Best man was Jesse Mitchell, Orting. Groomsmen were Brion Jones, Bellevue, and John Flanigan, Buckley.

A reception was held at the Varsity Grill, Tacoma. A Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, honeymoon was planned. The couple reside in Kent.

Amy and Mike Phillips

Amy and Mike Phillips were married June 25 at Casa Blanca on Cherry Island, Alexandria Bay, 1000 Islands, New York.

Amy is a 1996 graduate of W.F. West High School and a 2001 graduate of Randolph-Macon Womans College, Lynchburg, Va. She is director of riding at Oldfields School, Glencoe, Md. She is the daughter Dr. Pat and Susan Roden, Chehalis

Mike studied animation at Algonquin College, and is employed as a concept artist at ZeniMax Media, Hunt Valley, Md. His parents are Joe and Ann Phillips, Barrie, Ontario.

Maids of honor at the wedding were Britt Roden, Salkum, and Chelsea Roden, Pullman, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Sleipness, Pullman; Jennie Taylor, Charlottesville, Va.; Kate Worsham, Middleburg, Va.; and Tracey Smith, Atlanta.

Flower girls were Brook and Callie Phillips, nieces of the bridegroom.

Groomsmen were Joe and David Phillips, Barrie, Ontario, brothers of the bridegroom.

A reception for guests was held on Cherry Island at Casa Blanca following the wedding. A reception for family and friends is planned for late July at the home of the brides parents in Chehalis.

The couple spent a week in the 1000 Islands, New York, and are planning a later trip to Costa Rica. They reside in Glencoe, Md.
