Possession Roundup
Oscar D. Morales Meza, 24, of Centralia, was booked for alleged possession of methamphetamine; Corey M. John, 20, of Centralia, was cited and released for alleged possession of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol; Kevin J.J. Delong, 20, of Centralia, was cited and released for alleged minor in possession of alcohol all were contacted at 11 p.m. in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue.
Rape
A 17-year-old Centralia male was arrested on suspicion of second-degree rape Thursday and booked at 5 p.m. after a months-long investigation into an incident, according to police.
Trespassing on the Railroad
Lucas D. Bryan, 21, of Centralia, was cited and released for allegedly trespassing on railroad property at 11 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East 6th Street.
Malicious Mischief
Two juvenile males were reportedly kicking a fence behind a residence at 7:52 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue; they have been referred to the prosecuting attorneys office for malicious mischief.
Stolen Knives
Three knives were reported stolen from a car at 2 p.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Fords Prairie Avenue.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Pot Possession
Martiniano Arias, 33, of Bucoda, was cited and released at about 1 a.m. Thursday for alleged possession of a marijuana cigarette at Penny Playground.
Shoplifting at Walmart
Christy Strawn, 33, of Centralia, was cited and released at 8 p.m. Wednesday for alleged shoplifting at Walmart.
Disorderly Conduct
Gandalf ODaugherty, 52, a listed transient, was arrested in the Walmart parking lot on a warrant after police contacted him at 8 p.m. Thursday for alleged disorderly conduct.
LEWIS COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE
Pot Possession
Coulsen D. Kuhler, 18, of Adna, was cited and released at 11:20 p.m. Thursday in the intersection of Highway 6 and Curtis Hill Road in Adna for alleged possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, speeding and no insurance.
Stolen Fishing Poles
A 46-year-old man in the 400 block of Elk Creek Road in Doty reported his front door had been kicked in and two fishing rods and reels worth $400 were stolen from his home on Thursday.
Lewis County Jail
Inmate population in the main facility as of early this morning: 185 inmates; 157 are men and 28 are women. Of the total facility, none are work-release inmates. Sixty-five are contract bed inmates from outside agencies. None are on electronic home monitoring and none are day reporting. In the past 24 hours, as of early this morning, 12 people were booked into the jail and 11 were released.
