A 50th wedding anniversary celebration and open house for Don and Fay (Johnson) Landwehr of Astoria, hosted by their children and their families, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Coho Room at the Columbia Memorial Hospital Community Center, 2021 Marine Drive. Family and friends are welcome. Those attending are requested not  to bring gifts.

The couple were married July 15, 1961, by Pastor William S. Petersen, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Astoria.

They have four sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Mindy Landwehr of Knappa, Greg Landwehr and Gail Dundas of Jewell, Monte and Nicolle Landwehr of Astoria and Kurt and Jessi Landwehr of Newberg; and seven grandchildren, Jon Landwehr of Astoria, Nick and Kaitlyn Landwehr of Knappa, Astor and Emerson Landwehr of Jewell and Paivi and Helmi Landwehr of  Newberg.
