A 50th wedding anniversary celebration is being planned for Rod and Gwen (Edmonson) van Son, of Ilwaco, Wash., who were married June 3, 1961, in Great Falls, Mont.

The couple have four children, Kathryn Lacy of Astoria, Michael van Son of Bremerton, Wash., Jessica van Son of Longview, Wash., and John Paul van Son of Ilwaco; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
