Michelle Anne Berny, daughter of Michael and Dana Berny, exchanged wedding vows with Christopher James Lang on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The groom is the son of Kathy Murray-Lang and Dick Lang. They all reside in Astoria.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Father Ken Sampson performed the ceremony. Classical guitar music was provided for the ceremony by Ryan Walsh.

Maid of honor was Lindsay Radu of Vancouver, Wash. Bridesmaids were Heather Collins of Connecticut, Amanda Cordes of Colorado, Tara Humphrey of California and Erin Dooher of Corvallis. Flower girls were the brides cousins, Eva Dreiling and Sierra Walter.

Best man was Michael Lang of Astoria. Groomsmen were Bill Collins of Connecticut, Tim Lane of New York, Paul Flues of Astoria and Brian Alfonse of La Grande. Ring bearer was the grooms cousin, Ryan Gammie.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Astoria High School. In 2006, she received a bachelors degree from Oregon State University; in 2010, she received a doctorate degree from Oregon Health and Science University.

The groom also graduated from Astoria High School in 2002. He received a bachelors degree from the University of Oregon in 2006.

A reception was held at The Loft at the Red Building.

They honeymoon destination is the Dominican Republic.

The couple resides in Cambridge, Mass.
