Jessica McBroom and Jesse Holmes of Gearhart announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Raelyn and Robert Crayne of Astoria and Guy McBroom of Alaska. He is the son of Pam and Bob Holmes of Seaside.

The bride-to-be graduated from Seaside High School in 2006, and from Mt. Hood Community College in 2009. She received an associate’s degree in medical office.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Seaside High School.

An Aug. 27 wedding is planned in Gearhart.
