Karl and Linda Brown of Eugene announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Brown of Medford, to Matthew Michael White, also of Medford. He is the son of Diane White of Astoria and the late Eugene White.

The bride-to-be graduated from Willamette High School in 1998 and Oregon State University in 2003. She received a degree in pharmacy from OSU in 2006. She is a pharmacist and assistant professor with Pacific University School of Pharmacy and Asante Health System.

The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Sunset Academy, a 2002 graduate of Clatsop Community College, and a 2005 graduate of OSU. He received a degree in pharmacy from OSU in 2010. He is a pharmacist at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

A June 11 wedding is planned at Callahans Siskiyou Lodge in Ashland.
