End-of-life issues on agenda at Unitarian Church

The Pacific Unitarian Universalist Church will hold a service at 11 a.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church, 820 Alameda Ave. The Rev. Carol McKinley will deliver a sermon, Lives Touched With Meaning. This is the first of two services on end-of-life issues. An informal discussion will follow during the social hour.

McKinley lives in Olympia, Wash., where she serves as director of Washington State Unitarian Universalist Voices for Justice, a statewide legislative advocacy group. She is an affiliated community minister with the Olympia UU congregation. She received her masters degree in divinity from Seattle Universitys School of Theology and Ministry in 2004.

Arline LaMear will facilitate the service and provide refreshments. The greeter will be Becky Bafford.
