Gretchen Johnson of Oroville, Wash., daughter of Philip and Jean Johnson of Seaside, exchanged wedding vows with Kent Little, also of Oroville, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at the Apostolic Lutheran Church in Astoria. The groom is the son of Stuart and Rita Little of Newport, Wash.

Ben Johnson performed the ceremony.

The bride wore an ivory V-necked, sleeveless long silk gown.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Astoria High School, a 2002 graduate of Clatsop Community College with a degree in nursing, and a 2009 graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is a registered nurse at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket, Wash.

The groom graduated from Newport High School in 2002 and the Moody Bible Institute in 2006. He is employed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in customs and border protection.

A reception was held at the Apostolic Lutheran Church.

The honeymoon destination was San Pedro, Belize.

The couple reside in Oroville.
