Obituaries: Timothy Wade Carter

Timothy Wade Carter, 50, of Astoria, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, in Seaside.

He was born Oct. 25, 1959, in Lebanon, to Delbert E. and Joan M. (Hess) Carter. His parents survive.

On Oct.. 27, 1979, he married Deborah Ann “Debe” Carter in Newport. She survives, residing in Astoria.

Mr. Carter was an electrical and maintenance supervisor for Warrenton Sawmill from March 1998 until November 2009.

Family members said he enjoyed golfing, cars, fishing, hunting, camping and casinos. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Chris Oseguera of Warrenton; a son, Matt Carter of Astoria; three grandchildren, Nathan, Natalie and Alyssa Oseguera; two sisters; a brother; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Warrenton Community Center, 170 S.W. Third St. in Warrenton.
