Warrenton Trails Association Monthly Hike Scheduled

The Warrenton Trails Association is sponsoring a guided hike in Warrenton on Sunday October 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Fort Stevens Park Ranger Dane Osis will give a short presentation on wild mushrooms and then lead the group on a hike to look for, collect and identify wild mushrooms. The hike is around 4 miles round trip and will lead through the wooded areas of Fort Stevens. There is no fee for this hike and no registration is required. The Warrenton Trails Association is a 501(C)3, non-profit organization based in Warrenton whose mission is to create, enhance and support maintenance of a 25 mile multiuse trail loop through historically significant public land areas within the City of Warrenton and Clatsop County. The completed trail will form a loop connecting Fort Stevens to Fort Clatsop.
