Clatsop County Prevention Programs, formerly LifeWorks NW, has announced a fundraiser, Cup o’ Joe for Jane, will be held Sept. 9. Community members can to pick up a latte from a local coffee shop on that day and support girls’ programming in Clatsop County. One dollar from every latte purchased at participating coffee shops Sept. 9 will support prevention programs that provide 11 to 14-year-old girls opportunities to gain leadership skills, promote positive friendship skills and foster youth development.

Participating coffee shops include: Astoria Coffee House, Clouds ‘N My Coffee, Coast Coffee, Coffee Girl, Downtown Coffee Shop, Journey’s End, Rusty Cup, Blue Scorcher Café, Street 14 Coffee, Three Cups Coffee, Java Reef, James Family Coffee Company and Seaside Coffee Roasting Company.
