Wow, that Tillamook Cheese sure gets around. The Ear received an e-mail from Astoria/Goonies fan Jaeson Koszarsky. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Pennsylvania.

“During a 2005 visit to Oregon, we stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Visitor’s Center,” Jaeson wrote. “After returning home, I discovered that Wegmans markets carried Tillamook Cheese, but not ours in State College, Pa. I contacted them and they decided to get some on a trial basis, the sharp cheddar. On a recent grocery run, something new caught my attention. To our delight, they added Tillamook’s 3-Year Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar to their selection.”

The Ear is thinking those Vermont cheddar cheese makers better watch out.
