Dorothy Martha Jantz, 86, of Seaside, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Suzanne Elise Assisted Living in Seaside.

She was born Dec. 15, 1923, in Chicago, to John and Henrietta (Kelter) Zielke.

She attended college.

She married William A. Jantz Jr. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jantz was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Missouri Synod.

Family members said she enjoyed Hawaiian music, reading, shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah and Les Clark of Seaside and Sharon Panzarella of McKinney, Texas; and a brother and sister-in-law, Wilbur and Adele Zielke of Yorkville, Ill.

No service is planned.
