As of May 2010, Oregon Parks and Recreation Department has awarded and named Oregon Beach Rides the official concessionaire of Horseback Riding Rentals at Nehalem Bay State Park. Owned and operated by Judy Winters and her son, Mike Hughes, they offer visitors to Nehalem Bay State Park 1 and 2 hour horseback rides, and other various horse adventure rides for ages 6 and up. They provide horses of all skill levels and guidance and instruction throughout their rides. Coming soon will be wagon rides to ride down the Manzanita area beach. Horse rentals and stables are located the Nehalem Bay State Park Day Use Area, year-round, hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They also offer rides in Pacific City by appointment.
