Obituaries: Algis ‘Al’ Puzauskas

Ocean Park resident Algis “Al” Puzauskas, 66, of Ocean Park, Wash., died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, in Vancouver, Wash., following a short battle with cancer.
He was born Jan. 19, 1944, in Lithuania, to Alex and Bernice Puzauskas. His mother survives, residing in Vancouver. His father preceded him in death in 2005. The family immigrated to America, settling in Chicago.
Mr. Puzauskas was a 14-year resident of the Long Beach (Wash.) Peninsula. He was employed by Willapa Counseling in Long Beach as a therapist and counselor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Andrew and Vaidas Puzauskas of Vancouver.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 7 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seaview, Wash. A graveside service follows at Lone Fir Cemetery in Long Beach.
