SEASIDE – Suzanne Riedel, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, will present a talk, “Healing You Can Depend On,” at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Bob Chisholm Community Center, 1225 Avenue A in Seaside.

Riedel, who utilizes the ideas from the Bible, along with “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy, earned a master’s degree in literature and writing at the University of Texas.

After teaching secondary school English and other disciplines for 20 years, she worked for six years in national and international communications work for the Christian Science Committee on Publication in Boston. She has been published in the Christian Science Sentinel and Herald of Christian Science, on www.spirituality.com and in local newspapers, and speaks internationally as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
