New restaurants set in Cannon Beach

The Irish Table RestaurantCANNON?BEACH – Crystal and Sean Corbin of Seaside are planning to open the Irish Table Restaurant inside the Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters building at 1235 S. Hemlock in Cannon?Beach.

Crystal Corbin was a chef at Stephanie Inn for eight years before taking a break in?October. A couple months later, the opportunity arose for the Corbins to parner up with Cannon Beach residents Victor and Jane Harding, owners of Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters.

Years ago, the roaster building used to be home to a cafe, but when the Hardings opened the coffee shop, they turned the space into a roasting area.

Sometime before summer, the daytime coffee shop will be open at night as a restaurant. The menu will be?Northwest seasonal menu with Irish flare.

El Mariachi IIICANNON?BEACH – Rosalba and Celestin Cisneros are planning to open their third Mexican restaurant, El Mariachi Loco III, at 308 Fir St. in Cannon Beach in April. The Cisneros’ started their first El Mariachi Loco in 2004 in Gearhart. They opened a second restaurant in Manzanita in 2008. Rosalba Cisneros said she doesn’t have any plans to open any more restaurants in the future – three is the limit.

“That’s it,” she said. “No more.”
