Letter to the Editor: Seaside drug dog
Published 4:00 pm Monday, January 4, 2010
Seaside has received funds to put a drug sniffing dog in service for the police department to do their job better. We as citizens have a right to have a say in the matter: not just the city manager.I want the police to have as many tools as possible help to restore Seaside back to the gem of the coast it once was. There are cells of drug dealers in town in various housing projects that need cleaning up. Are you tired of it? I certainly am. The better our town gets both socially and structurally our economic stream from tourism will only increase. We need to take a cue from Warrenton and Cannon Beach. Please urge the city manager to do the right thing.
