WARRENTON – As the national unemployment rate continues to rise, The UPS Store in Warrenton, located at 5 N. U.S. Highway 101 in the Premarq Center, is doing what it can to help those affected by providing up to 30 free resume copies.
“The country is in a tough economic situation right now, so it’s necessary that we pull together and help out where we can,” said Cindy Yingst, who owns the local franchise store with her husband, D.B. Lewis.
Based on the honor system, The UPS Store is trusting that people will be honest regarding their unemployment status to receive the free service.
As there is no clear end in sight to the economic slump, The UPS Store will offer free resume copy services from April 2009 until the outlook is more positive. “We truly want to be of service to our community for as long as it takes. We also have a number of services, other than copies, that may assist someone who is unemployed,” Yingst said.
