New thrift stores open in Seaside and Warrenton

Two new thrift stores have opened on the North Coast recently; one in Warrenton, and one in Seaside.
The nonprofit Penny-Wise Thrift Store, located at 723 E. Harbor Drive in Warrenton, which opened Oct. 7, will support a foster care facility in Clatsop County for people with mental illnesses.
The hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. For information, call (503) 861-2711.
Helping Hands is the new thrift store at The Riverside Recovery Center, located at 1530 S. Roosevelt Drive in Seaside. The store is now accepting donations of small furniture, household items and clothes. All proceeds will go to housing for recovering addicts and to help with the outreach center.
