Ilwaco KOA makes campsite improvements

Campers at the Ilwaco KOA are in for a surprise. Owners Robert and Pam Huddleston recently updated the 95 campsites at the Ilwaco KOA, which is located two miles South of Ilwaco at 1509 State Route 101.

Robert Huddleston said that improvements were made to the store, laundry room, game room, showers and restrooms.

“We’ve gotten really good feedback,” he said. “We also took out every other campsite to enlarge them and put a fire pit at each campsite, which everyone seems to like.”

In the future the Huddlestons hope to add more hook-up sites, as well as 50-amp service, a swimming pool and children’s play yard.
