Author Nancy Minsky book signing Aug. 30

Jewish Review correspondent Nancy Minsky has published her first book, carefully considered, written, illustrated and photographed for every sewer, from complete newbie to experienced seamstress.

“Denim Revolution: Dozens of Ways to Turn Denim Cast-Offs into Fashion Must-Haves” took two years from concept to published work. And late this summer and into fall, Nancy will be touring in town, on the coast and in Seattle to sign, read from and create designs inspired by her book.

Minsky will be at Cloud & Leaf Bookstore, 148 Laneda Ave., in Manzanita, this Saturday, Aug. 30, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., for a special book signing.
