Weddings: Drage – Gant

Irene R. Drage, of Indianapolis, daughter of Steve and Laurie Drage, of Astoria, exchanged wedding vows with Kyle P. Gant, also of Indianapolis, at 3 p.m., April 19, 2008, at the First Lutheran Church in Astoria. The groom is the son of Mark and Tammi Gant of Brownsburg, Ind.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. John Wecker performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a Renaissance gown of white and gold brocade with black trim. Celtic music was provided by a trio playing flute, piano and violin. The bride drew a Celtic heart symbol for the bulletin.
Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Sara Lyn Drage of Eugene. Bridesmaids were Jessica Heflin of Portland and Angela Lister of Eugene. Candle lighters were cousins Caitlin Kramer of Graham, Wash., and Matthew Drage of Vaughn, Wash.
Best man was the groom’s brother, Joseph Gant of Brownsburg. The groomsman was another brother, Evan Gant of Brownsburg. Ushers were cousins Matthew and Patrick Dodd of Eugene.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Astoria High School. She is a homemaker.
The groom graduated from Brownsburg High School in 2003. He works for the Rolls Royce Civil Aerospace Division as a security guard.
A reception was held at the church, catered by Uniontown Fish Company.
The couple honeymooned driving a U-Haul truck from Astoria to Indiana via the Grand Canyon.
The couple live in Indianapolis.
