Kick the ‘Heel Wedgie’ syndrome

Katie Johnson, a housewife and mother who lives in Seaside, has invented a cure for what she describes as the “heel wedgie,” the dreaded wardrobe malfunction which occurs when the cuffs of pants get bunched up in the backs of sling-back or open-heeled shoes.

Johnson came up with Kix by Katie, semi rigid cloth strips with peel-off backs that adhere vertically to the inside back hemline of pants and make the pants hang in such a way that they don’t get caught in the shoes any more.

She’s been featured on Oregon Live and KATU’s AM Northwest. Pretty ingenious idea! Check out her website at www.kixbykatie.com
