Brian Jackson posts strong stats in Utah Flash season

Knappa’s Brian Jackson closed out his 2007-08 season on a strong note, as the former Logger led the Utah Flash in rebounds in the final two games of the season, which came to a close April 12 with a 130-118 win over the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Jackson started all 47 games in which he appeared. The Flash finished third (24-26) in the NBA Development League’s West Division.

The Utah Flash is affiliated with the NBA’s Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz.

Playing 29.5 minutes per game, Jackson averaged 9.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest (303, second-most for the Flash), with a .442 field goal percentage (149-for-337), .831 from the free throw line (152-for-183). He led the team in blocked shots (50) and was second on the team in assists (142).
