Donald Eugene Culp, 72, of The Dalles, formerly of Warrenton, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, in The Dalles.

He was born April 17, 1935, in Birchtree, Mo., to Stephen and Bea (Williams) Culp. His parents preceded him in death.

He graduated from Warrenton High School in 1954.

Mr. Culp worked as a bread truck driver for Langendorf Bakery and then for Franz Bakery until he retired in 1978.

Family members said he enjoyed golfing and was happiest fishing at Buoy 10 with his friends. He also enjoyed coin and train collecting.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tara and Dallas Aschoff and Tracy and Ron Buckholz; two grandchildren, Ailee and Dylan Aschoff; a sister, Sandra Tomlinson; and a brother, Charles Culp.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary.
