WARRENTON – Providence Health & Services Oregon Region has announced plans to build a new primary care clinic in Warrenton. Initially, the clinic will be staffed by a family practice physician and nurse practitioner and will feature walk-in availability for patients without appointments.
The new Warrenton clinic will be at 171 S. Highway 101, in Youngs Bay Plaza. At 3,000 square feet, it will accommodate two physicians and one nurse practitioner, as well as support staff. The opening is planned for spring 2008.
Providence decided to build the new clinic after a review of the needs and growth within the area. In 2006, Providence provided nearly $2 million in community benefit services to Seaside and other communities in the North Coast Service Area.
