AHS graduate to attend PEO college in Missouri

PEO Sisterhood, Chapter FE, announced that Maren Berg Roper, a 2007 Astoria High School graduate, will be attending Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. This 2-year college is owned and supported by the organization. She also received a $2,100 PEO Oregon Cottey College scholarship.
Rose Dugan, a Warrenton High School graduate, has received a $750 scholarship.
The scholarships were announced at the recent Oregon state convention in Pendleton, which was attended by Chapter FE President, Mary Davies, Vice-president Margaret Steinmeyer and Amelia McNally.
Other Chapter FE officers elected this spring include Tena Seeborg, recording secretary; Tam Loughran, corresponding secretary; Linda Weber, treasurer; Arlene Landwehr, chaplain; and Nancy Cole, guard.
