In One Ear: Bell Buoy restaurant rings loud in magazine

The July issue of Men’s Journal magazine, in honor of summer road trips, has a section called “The Great American Menu.” This is not for the fast food fanatic, as the often eclectic dishes are listed alphabetically, starting with alligator, which is available in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

However, in the midst of reptiles, raw steak, and Chinese dumplings called xiaolongbao, one local restaurant’s fare shines as a down-to-earth dish – C stands for crab (Dungeness) at the Bell Buoy of Seaside.
