Linda Kay Cooper, 51, of Seaside, died Saturday, May 26, 2007, in Seaside.

She was born Aug. 3, 1955, in Carson, Calif.

Her husband of 18 years, Fred Schlegel Jr., survives, residing in Seaside.

Family members said she loved gardening and being with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Teresa McGarr of Seaside; and two sons, Colton and Fred Schlegel of Seaside.

A private family service will be held.

Hughes-Ransom Cremation & Mortuaries in Seaside is in charge of the arrangements.
